Well The Puma Special I recently scored needed a full re pin, so i did it over the weekend. I used Nickel Silver rod, and stainless washers. it closes a little off center, but for a first try I am not complaining. Pics are not the best, sorry

No reason to be,,,, the work speaks for itself. For a first job which doesn't look it, the pins are terrific. Consistent, smooth, nicely done. Now do another! Isn't it fun!

Addictive even. It gives one a sense of pride in workmanship. Something that is so lacking in our present society.
Oh, it is addictive! And to take something you made however humble or grandiose and use it to shave with is just too cool.
Buy something and use it is one thing, to make it and use it is another. It's so much more personal in the connection. Ya' just have to do it again.
Today it's pinning a razor,, tomorrow it's scales,, then it's polishing a blade. It all starts from one simple step. One thing leads to another as your confidence grows.
