At 32 years old I had my first smooth shave last night. I used only cheap equipment. Walmart soap and brush. 3 piece gillette double edge with cvs blades. Made the best shave I can remember. Shaved with the grain and against. Minimal irritation. Smooth as a babys butt. With minimal stubble in a couple place. Glad I found the forum to teach me more about a proper shave! There is a welth of info here.now to tslk the wife into spending money for better equipment. And a straight razor.

Isn't it great? I remember my first shave with a DE. A friend lent me a Fatboy and said I would be surprised, and boy was I. Two years later and I have a few more than just a Fatboy and shave with almost every one unless its NOS. Welcome to B&B I'm sure you'll find everyone is very friendly and helpful.
