What's new

First day of Trade School is done!

As some of you know I am an Apprentice Parts Tech, and I am finally in school for my second of three years of schooling. Yesterday I had the quick meet and greet with the instructors and classmates. Today was the first actual day of school. Wasn't too bad, went over a bunch of stuff I can sort of remember from my first year which I took over two years ago. It is really nice to get back into the classroom and away from the customers for a little bit. Best part is that my work pays for it all and I get my regular wages, no need to fool around with Employment Insurance. I am about to rewrite my messy notes and hopefully retain a bit more information!

Parts in general, automotive, heavy duty, agricultural... I work for a Caterpillar dealership (largest in the world) though so I will be earning a bunch of stuff that isn't going to do much more me while at work but it is still good stuff to learn about.

Thanks for the well wishes fellas!

I'm also rewriting today's notes with my B&B LE fountain pen in script. I forgot how little free time I get when it comes to school... Though I'm sure I'll be able to find the time for the occasional pipe and finish brewing my beer!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, Let's get to the meat of it. Are you taking smoke breaks with your pipe and writing with your fountain pen? :tongue_sm

Enabled anyone in your class yet?

Seriously though, congrats on the higher learning, I hope it serves you well in the future.

EDIT: I guess I was typing when you were LOL

Well I've been using my B&B LE rollerball in class and rewriting with the FP. I need to find a good small bowled pipe for the quick smoke breaks... maybe a vest pocket pipe, they look pretty cool!

You're on your way to becoming a man of many parts. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.) Best of luck on the new phase of your career!
