first Boar, Semogue 830, 1305 or Omega Pro #48/49?

I sure loved the knot in my 49. I put it in a nicer handle and it is superb! I shave my head too, and it holds enough lather for multiple passes. Took a while to lose the odor and let the hairs split, but it is a great brush and a great value.

I have Semogue 830 and 2000. Both are great brushes. However, the handle on the 2000 is superb. It's like it was made for my hand. When I use it, it's like an extension to my fingers. I bowl later exclusively and I prefer boar hair over anything else. Break in for the Semogues was not bad or difficult for me. They just get better and better with use.
