Finishing After the DMT D8EE

The DMTs leave a lot of scratches. When you come off of the D8EE, do you remove all the scratches on your next hone/strop or is the polish not important?

The few times I've used my D8EE on a razor, I found the scratches to be significant enough to want a bit of slurry on my coticule. YMMV. Also, how worn in is your D8EE?

I dunno, I'm not too particular about counting. Maybe 10-15.

On Tim Zowada's website he clearly shows how a chromox stropping of a 8k edge will smooth it out nicer than even a high-zoot hone can.
