I have a badger and a boar, bought a RazoRock synthetic and it just works so well that I put
my others aside and haven't looked back. My synthetic is so much better but I'm going to give them a try
again hoping for a better result. My hard water is probably an issue too.

I really like my RazoRock synthetic also and it works great with this soap for me, maybe try some bottle water as a test GL

Another solution for hard water is just load a little more soap.

Have American Blend, Fresh Vetiver and Platinum (with matching AS). I love them all. Because I live close to West Coast Shaving, I was able to get a whiff of all their offerings and these three were the stand out winners!

What marketing makes you believe it performs like Tabac since it is similar formulation. I does NOT!
Tabac is a far better stuff and it is the scent that not everybody likes.
