I've been waiting, weighing, and anticipating, and I finally convinced myself to place an order today. Here's what's coming...

Can't wait for the stuff to get here. Toughest part, aside from figuring out what razor to buy, was that due to the holidays, most of the stuff that had great reviews and prices is out of stock. Oh well, there's always next time

That actually sounds like a GREAT way to store your tools. A bifunctional stand. It can hold your brush and razor while you're away, and it can hold your drink while you shave. Sounds great to me!

hope you picked up something for irritation
i had a hard time making the switch
its been around 9 months for me now and i've finally stopped consistently suffering from major razor burn
took that long to develop the no pressure light touch and blade angle from the turn at the jaw line
a blade that liked me too but...i'll have to revisit the blades i thought bad for me because i think my technique is repeatably decent now
