My double DB scuttle arrived two days ago. I've used it the past two nights and I can't believe I've been shaving so long w/o warm lather. I've been adding water to the water chamber only prior to showering. I am still soaking my brush in tap water in the sink. After I shower, squeeze and shake all the water out of my brush. I load the brush and go to work. Any water I add is from the electric pot. My lather has been a little different the past two days, but nothing I won't be able to work out. For one thing, it actually has a shine to it. Prior to this, my lather always was matte. The first day it was a little too airy. Last night it was a little too wet. I did that on purpose figuring some of the moisture would evaporate as the shave progressed. Regardless, shaving was still a pleasure and I had warm lather left at the end of four passes.
