my new vintage scuttle worked great, the bowl is a little deeper so the lather pretty much stays in the bowl and the front mouth is bigger, so i can pre wet both the razor and brush together. it'll be fun to keep in the rotation.

I picked one of these up at a thrift shop about a month ago along with the brush. I used it once I just filled it with hot tap water and inserted the brush to soak while I showered when I got out I replaced the water, loaded the brush, and lathered on my face and head. I used some vintage Williams the puck was to big but it worked ok anyway. I may have to try it again now that I've found this thread and read some tips. Here are some pics, everyone likes pics right.
