Few Brushes I Made

Thought i would show some of the handle i made for myself. Maybe get some feedback to :)

Finished turning a new brush yesterday in my favorite tall shape. I used a wood block from Southeast Asia called Afzelia Xylay aka alligator skin that comes from the Afzelia xylocarpa tree. The 3d grain and color is just beautiful and deserved a nice super gloss coating of superglue. Now to the hard part, decide what knot to set for 24mm. I'm thinking a 3-band High Mountain White.

Absolutely amazing!! Love the koa wood!!

Curly Koa is my favorite piece of wood. Nothing beats it IMO. I have a cpl chefs knives and razor scales made out of it.

Here is a block of some of the best koa i ever had.

That's some great work! The skull brush is awesome, looks like the skull has a mohawk. I have had good luck transplanting an Omega boar knot, if you are inclined to use boar.

I'm not a fan of wood handles but those first two are absolutely stunning. Very nice work there. Absolutely beautiful.
In fact, the craftsmanship on everything you've done above is truly amazing.

Thank you for sharing the pics.
