I prefer a soap like Penhaligon's English Fern with brush.
Many of these brushless all behave the same, which is sort of okay. Some are okay, some can be terrible.
yeah, but people say pen soaps suck now. just wondering if anyone's tried it. brushless hadn't even crossed my mind, something i should have probably considered. looks like they sell it at sears... $20 shaving cream seems steep for sears.
I'd take a good whiff of it before I buy it too--like I said, I'd be surprised if it smells anything like what you expect in a fougere.
a nice inexpensive fougere is taylor of old bond street sensitive in the black tub. very green. very ferny. excellent performance and minimal price
