Feminine Smelling Cream??

I’m converting my GF over to the wonderful world of wetshaving and I’m looking for a feminine smelling cream for her. I have no experience with any of the rose or lavender scented creams, or perhaps there is a perfume type scented cream out there??

Any ideas??

Thanks in advance!

Disclaimer: She wont be using this cream for shaving her face, she doesnt happen to be the bearded lady.:lol::lol:

Well, the rose and lavender would be great choices I suspect. A tub of TOBS rose or lavender ... or T&H ...

Consider if she'd like almond or lime scented creams, too.

Vulfix sandalwood smells sort of like gingerbread, which may entice her.

Check if she is a fan of coconut, if so trumpers coconut oil shave cream. The scent is natural and sweet, I like the way it lingers for a while on the skin. Perfect for summer too!!

Im a big fan of TOBS creams but havent had a chance to try Rose yet, looks like ill be picking that up and see how she likes it.

Thats another great suggestion, i didnt even think of that. I do know that she really likes that type of smell.

Hmmm looks like i might have to add that to the list.

Well maybe your in the market for something more expensive but van der hagen soap all smells really generic - just has a glycerin smell.
And even better you can add your own perfums/oils etc to the lather without hurting it, and it will smell like whatever you want.

It's available locally most places and only costs $2.00.

I know you said cream but just mentioning it is an option if she might want to try soap.

Hmm, i never thought of that... DUH! haha.

I have a couple new pucks of VDH, how do i go about adding a scent to it?? Just a few drops when i melt it into a mug??

I mix my lather in a bowl - so when I am stirring it up I will just add a drop or spray of the sent I want and and stir it in and it will smell great :).
Not sure on the melting in a mug method - it might work :) - try it and let us know.

I added a few drops of Old Spice cologne to VDH Deluxe. I just put some hot water on the puck and added the juice.

It's kept the scent for several shaves, but I wager I'll have to recharge it every so often. Melting it in with the soap would cure that.

Looks like ill be conducting some experiments. :001_cool:

Ill be sure to report back what i find out.

Did you have any issue with irratation due to the cologne being added?? Im sure it didnt make a difference, but i was always kinda curious about it.

I haven't noticed any difference between the times I add it and the times I just use it plain.

Awesome I'm curious to know how the melting in goes :). I might try that sometime myself just to see the difference.

Im probably going to cut the pucks of VDH in half so i can do smaller batches with different scents. We'll see how it goes.

AOS rose is actually marketed for women. A very good cream IMO. GFT violet is good. CF lavender if you feel like splurging or even Penhaligons Endymion.

Maca Root shaving cream from the Body Shop has a smell that I would consider "feminine." She might like it a lot.

In addition, it's a nice, moisturizing cream.
