I really love the Chubby1 but it is just to small so I talked to Jim and asked him if the 2 was just a bigger 1...he said "depends". Here is what he sent me. The bloom on the 1 is almost nothing and I hope that the 2 is the same. Can't wait to try it. It has a backbone that is "bountiful"!

For size comparison here is my buddies together.

I am finally done with buying brushes! Some of the new Simpsons are just beautiful!

In the future I will post the bloom if anyone is interested.

Take Care,
Richard

Jaw-droppingly cool, Richard. well done.

"In the future I will post the bloom if anyone is interested."
what? are you kidding??

ENVY:thumbup1:

That is a great looking pair! You'll never have to take any lip from no stinking soaps with the little chubster and his big brother there.

oh my gosh.... Seriously.. I felt something in my pants stir! Not sure if thats a good thing or not... :blushing:

I never thought i would say i want an expensive brush... but i want one of those!

The bloom should look like this
full

These 2 band Simpsons are my new favourites.

Thanks for the pic Ari. I was hoping that would be the case. I know the older brushes were more fan shaped and have a following but for me I like the added backbone of a more bulb like shape. Can not wait to try this morning, got up early to give it a thrashing.

Later,
Richard

NICE! I based my custom chubby on the simpson went between chubby 2 and chubby 3 with a chubby 2.5 :thumbup1: I can't wait any longer for it to arrive!

Congrats on the CH2! I picked one up a couple of months ago and it is a terrific performer - a real monster with soaps! It'll whip up a terrific lather straight away and hold enough for at least four passes. Enjoy it!

Nice going Duke. Let us know how it goes when you get it. I have been dabbling in customs also.

Take Care,
Richard

Had the same shipped to relatives in California...I pick 'er up at the end of the month. Can't wait, yours sure looks like a beauty - and years of lathery goodness :thumbup1:
