Considering this is a truly new item in the market, I'm not at all surprised that it was irresistible. I'm certainly curious to hear a (full, detailed) report of how it performs for you. The description makes it sound rather mild - not a bad thing - and there's certainly "room to play" in the design to change the blade exposure.

I'll make a full report once I've gotten it and had time to take it through its paces.
Still in & still getting marvelous shaves!
Even though I alwasy pack my shave gear in checked luggage I take the pessimistic view that there is a good chance my belongings might be lost. So I take my least valuable razor, one I would not be too upset to lose. And no brush, I just hand lather some Spieck cream. Re the TSA not recognizing a Batch 2 as a razor, I figure those guys are likely to impound anything that they don't recognize, just on general principles.

Preshave: Hot washcloth
Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat (Tallow)
Brush: Yaqi 24mm synthetic cashmere
Razor: GC.84 SB, Al Handle, Wizamet #1
Bowl: Turkish copper
Post-shave: Nivea Balm
I loaded a fresh Wizamet in the mild Game Changer, and got an easy DFS. I think these blades are slightly sharper than Astras.
Preshave: Hot washcloth

Old Type, the last Tatara (6). Muhle sandalwood soap. Styptic pen. Bevel aftershave balm.
Pushed the envelope a bit trying to get a good shave, and got quite a few little nicks on my lip and around mouth. But… finally achieved something I’ll call DFS! Felt great all day after that. Just need to learn to do the same without the blood. Perhaps a fresh blade would help.
Still loving the Bevel aftershave balm. I meant to continue to use up the other AS lotion I don’t like, but given the nicks I thought I’d treat myself, and the Bevel didn’t disappoint. And it’s rather affordable too.
I think I’ll slow down and do some 1pass WTG for awhile and run out this blade before I get tricky again.

I wouldn’t count on it. One of my ol’ high school buddies is a top dog at the TSA academy and he tells me that they are very aware of any new innovations that come out. In fact, there are people at TSA whose primary job is to scour the internet looking for such products that could be in disguise of something else. If their systems don’t recognize something, the agents look to see what it is. I wouldn’t test those waters…just saying.
