February 2025 Gentlemanly Restraint Until Month End (GRUME)

Started my shave with the Slim and a Personna (3)… not getting smooth motion. Got fed up and did another pass and some cleanup with:
Razor: Old Type
Blade: Tatara (1)
Like butter… more gentle, smooth, and efficient. Not sure why me and the Slim don’t get along. My last Tatara blade, let’s see how long it can go.
Aftershave: Brut. Lather&Wood balm.

Still "IN"
Loving the Admiral bowl still, and also how the MdC whips up a ton of lather in it. Not as pleased with the performance of the blade, though. If I wasn't in the OBIFC, I'd likely have swapped in a new one by now. Love my Nacets, but part of why I love them is they're great for my first 4 shaves... after that, I just take what I get.
Still, DFS but needed extensive touch-up.
Razor: Yates Winning Titanium
Blade: Nacet(6)
Brush: Simpson Colonel X2L Best Badger
Bowl: Captain's Choice - The Admiral
Soap: Martin de Candre, Original
Aftershave: Saponificio Varesino Settantesimo/70th Anniversary

Translated: If you're using a Nacet, you can bin the one you're using when it's no longer serviceable and use a new Nacet. Just stay with Nacets for the month and you're good. Extra points for using a single blade the whole time, but not required.

Since I almost exclusively use my beloved Nacets, I feel like doing what I already normally do defeats the purpose of the OBIF.
