Been wet shaving now for a few months. Just tried the feathers... Great close shave for my coarse beard.... Small nicks under neck but I'm very impressed with the blade. Going to try the Gillette Silver and Blue next and compare.... Getting close to narrowing down to 3 blades.....

Feathers are a great blade. Reputedly the sharpest. Another blade to try if you are interested is the Gillette 7 O'Clock sharp edge in the yellow pack. Sharp and smooth

Yes, I like Feathers. They're my daily blade (seven shaves out of each one in my EJ DE89). Sharp and smooth as long as you respect them (as with any blade...).

YMMV, of course.

What is the difference between the various feather blades? From what I've seen there are feather yellow, black, and I received some in a white and red package.

As long as I know, yellows (10 blades) and blacks (5 blades) are the same blade. Yellows are for international market and blacks for Japan. I have never seen white and red package.... mmm.

Thanks, I was thinking there was a difference in the blade itself. The red and white (red printing on white background) was in a PIF to me that was purchased in Japan.

Just loaded my last Feather into a Feather Popular. Took my time and got a BBS result. That said, I'm not buying any more of these: I have hundreds of very good blades in the linen closet. Onward!

Yeah the feather blades (yellow) are very sharp. As I have sensitive skin...I don't get any irritation with them.
i do get an odd cut but the blades are too good not use.
