Well I have used Feathers and voshkods and just thought I would post what my thoughts are. First off I have a very thick, very soft beard so I figure a wider range of blades probably work well for me. In no particular order:
1. Voshkod. Excellent, shaves improved after the first and VERY smooth. The Teflon maybe? Top notch shave.
2. Feather. Excellent shave but not quite as smooth as the Voshkod's. I think I would choose the Voshkod given price vs performance. No bloodletting.
3. Gillette Super Thin Mejoradas bought locally made in Brazil. Excellent shave, these are a top notch blade. A great loss since the blades here appear to be nos.
4. Derby. Believe it or not I get an excellent, very smooth shave with these. I'm sure it's my soft whiskers, but very smooth and easily a daily driver blade.
I get the mejoradas locally so not a problem, I have most of a 100 pack left. I have a 100 pack of derby's coming and see myself ordering 100 voshkod's. I can see myself having all of these on hand. I think I am lucky (I see it that way) to have a beard that is easily cut and they all perform well. I can tell a difference in them, but I can label none of them as bad.
Hall of shame. Lord's bought locally, they just about ripped my face off so nothing is perfect.
