I had recently bought the Feather Nape & Body Razor to use to shave my neck hair and to do fine detailing on my facial hair. Today I tried using it as a regular face shaver. The results were one of the best shaves I ever had. Not only did it provide a very close shave, but it was also very comfortable. I have never tried the Feather Artist Club before, and now there's no point in trying them. I'm assuming it gives as close a shave, and I'm sure it's more safe. I didn't draw blood once. I would definitely recommend this for someone who is just starting out straight shaving.

I'm just not going to try the Artist Club. I still use my 6 straights regularly.
If it works so good for you then you don't need any other kind of straight. But I think you'll want to try others as time goes on. The Feather AC's, and the SS are really nice straights, and once you get the technique down, nothing can touch them. The Kai straights are also really good.
So the nape can be used as a normal straight for a face shave...?
