Feather Coating

Has anyone had a problem with the coating of their Feather AC? Mine has already lost it on the tip of the razor over the slot where the blade goes. Is there any difference between having it and not having it?

Is there brass showing through, or is it just dull colored?

Unless there's brass showing through, its likely just soap scum. Spray it down with something designed to remove soap scum, and see what happens.

It's just dull colored. It is as if it had wax coating, now gone. ANd no it is not soap, I know the residue of soap.
