Does anyone have any experience with Feather carbon steel DE blades? Thoughts? Anyone know where I could find some here in the States?

I haven’t tried them myself but what I read was not encouraging, better to avoid. Treet has quite the range of (coated) carbon steel blades or the Black Beauties as uncoated offering.
Fork out the money for some vintage Gillette Super Blues, the coating preserves the edge. They are about the same feel as a sharper batch of Astra SPs and I get 6 shaves out of one. Trying for 7 tomorrow actually!
I haven't heard of Feather carbon steel blades. I'll be following with interest if anyone has a lead on some.

Cannot help with the Feather Carbon Steel blades, but would be interested to hear any updates.
The best of the Carbon Steel blades I've personally tried were the Treet Dura-Sharps. Used with open comb razors such as Fatip Piccolo and Gillette New SC.

I've read a few things here and there about them and I saw the same feelings for them. Maybe they were developed for industrial and not personal use?
Well they are listed for laboratory/medical use. It doesn't make them good for shaving.
