Feather blade revisited

Well, I have a stash of 50 feathers, but shelved after one shave a while back because it left me with 1st degree razor burn. This morning I thought I'd give one another go before moving them on, and lo and behold, I got one of my best shaves from this blade and zero razor burn. I used my New Open comb and really focused hard on applying no pressure, literally light as a feather, and bingo, perfect all round.

Guess it really does depend on technique as the only other thing I changed was my shaving cream, from Nivea to Williams.

Scored the WCS sampler then bought some packs from SlagleRock.
I really overstocked on them and have only used one so far.

I feel I will be going back to try it again as well. The Slim I was using has severe tweak in it. Didnt know about it at the time, nor was I experienced enough to know. Those Feathers ate me alive! Just scored my first NEW open-comb black/red set. Used a Wilk Sword with it a few days ago, and it went well. So I will give that setup a try!

Yeah I wasn't terribly impressed with them the first go-round. Like the other sos-so blades, they will get another chance at some point.
