Favourite sandwich?

Canned sardines in olive oil on good pumpernickel bread.

Spread both slices of pumpernickel with horseradish sauce.
Place canned sardines on said bread.
Spritz with hot sauce of your choice and stand by for a taste sensation.
I’ve never heard of this combo in all my years on this planet. Last time I touched canned sardines was to live trap a stray cat. I’ll give it a go soon.
