I have 2 Rainbow of California Compact Bi-Fold Wallets that I have been using since 1978, which I carry every day! They have 4 credit card (side entry so cards cannot fall out) compartments and a bills compartment. Very thin and lightweight and nearly indestructible (45 years experience), and highly recommended at under $20. I recently bought a similar Flowfold, which is nearly as lightweight and strong, but slightly larger and great quality. I tried a big skinny but like the Rainbow and Flowfold better.

material for my next wallet will be carbon fiber, based on what I’ve read it should last much longer than other types of material.

Instead of carrying a bulky wallet, I use this minimalist leather card holder. I don't carry cash, so it's perfect for me. It fits neatly into my pocket. I like the ease of access to my cards. The quality leather construction looks great. It feels durable and well-made.
