Favorite razor personalized!

[Cornishman]

Hi All,
An old retired engraver, who is in his 70's and lives in a nearby fishing village, did a little favor for me today.
I love using my New Improved head on a ATT Atlas handle, so he engraved my B&B name "Cornishman" on the top plate for me. I was born in Cornwall and am very proud of it!
I think he did a great job. It's a bit hard to photograph, but here it is:

That is beautiful. I didn't realize that you could engrave without hurting the plating.

Before you all go out doing this, be sure that:

(1) The engraving is shallowly done (like this one)
(2) The head top is not my old favourite - Zamak. If it is exposed by engraving, it'll begin to dissolve.

Although I was born in the North East, my ancestors (Grandfather and before) were from Bodmin, Cornwall, many centuries of 'Glynn' I believe.

That came out really nice, I like that. I imagine it can be done to Stainless Steel pretty easy especially if it is not plated Stainless Steel, Like the Above the Tie Razor Heads ?
