Favorite Jeans?

I have some pairs from the Gap several jears old and a bit worn out that I like. I also a a pair from LL Bean which are really nice. However, lately I've been really digging my stoenwashed Levis's 505's. They just look abit more classic, fit me really well and are a bit lighter (nice for the summer). They have that classic red tab, copper rivets, the little leather cowboy patch on the back and that classic curved stitching pattern on the back pockets. They are priced right @ like 35 bucks as well. What do you guys like?

My personal favorite jeans are Lucky Brand. There is an outlet back home (Charleston, SC) that sells them for WELL under normal retail, so they are an amazing deal. They're the first pair I've had that fit really well. They have lasted several years now, only patched once by the wife, but we're going on 5 years now.

My top three jeans at the moment are:
nudie - thin finn
Levis - don't recall the model (500 something 501 or 510)
Lee - dont recall the model

My favorite jeans are Diesel, but I can't afford a closet full of them so most of the other jeans I have are from American Eagle or Big Star

+1 for Lucky Brand jeans. Only brand I buy now since my first pair some 5 year ago. That first pair finally got its first worn thru knee this past spring. Was so sad to retire them to yard work duty. I have about 4 pair that I rotate thru. I buy them at my local Belk when they put them on clearance, never at full retail. Excellent jeans. Check the labels, they have versions in both 100% cotton (which I prefer, much softer) and some that are 1%...elastic of some sort, cant recall, that give them a tad bit of stretch.

Thats what I end up with too. My favorite go to Luck Brand, and several pairs of Old Navy/Gap jeans.

Levi's for me.
I've only had a few pairs of designer jeans and of them I liked the Tommy Hilfiger jeans.

Carharts... need to dig ditches in them a while though to get them comfortable. For me... there is no such thing as dress jeans. Either dress up or not.

I get mine for $19.99 at Tractor Supply Co. - Schmidt, their house brand. Fit me great, long-wearing.

But, if you're looking for cool designer jeans, these are not it.

They are everything I need and want, however.

For solid, basic blue jeans -- work wear, not designer-approved -- it's hard to beat Costco's Kirkland jeans. They cost less than $15, look to be made in the same factory as my Carhartts, are nice, heavy denim with a good, dark blue color. Found something almost identical for $10 in a Black Friday sale at Bass Pro Shop last year.

For slightly dressier occasions, I have a couple of pair of selvege jeans that are fine ... but I think the Kirklands will probably be more durable over time. No snob appeal ... just thick, tough denim.

Gosh, I did not know there was anything but Levi 501's....Really I did. I have been wearing 501's for a long long time. probably 30+years, not the same pair mind you.

I have a pair of the Levis 505. They have a great fit and I am very impressed by the weight of the denim and quality of the workmanship.

Next favourite would be American Eagle followed by Gap.

I'd have to put Old Navy at the bottom of the list. This is for overall appearance and workmanship.
