It's a great thread. In have 1 & 2. I prefer the old type. I'd like to find a hybrid.
The razor i find the most beautiful modern one, is the aluminium Standard Razors razor. It has stunningly minimalistic looks.
I dont own one, and although i can order one on ebay in the US, i am fighting hard not to, the RAD has to stop.
I have about 10 different razors now (one slant, 2 OC's, 2 vintage Gillettes, ... so most of the different kinds of DE's i guess ..).
Sometimes i wish i had the courage to just keep my 4 favourites: Fatip Piccolo OC, Rockwell 6C, Gillette Slim 1961, Yaqi Mercury.

How do they compare, particularly on aggression?
My favorite is the Wolfman WR1, but I shave my face with my technique so I don't know if it's the best for you.
To me, they seem very close in both aggressivness (both very mild) and efficiency.
Both are great options for anyone liking mild razors, with the Game Changer obviously having a huge price advantage.
I haven’t had every razor out there, but my all time favorites at the moment are:

ATT R2 (aluminum) with RR UFO handle.
My favourite razor is the Ti95 with scalloped baseplate, very closely followed by just about any razor in my collection - having a hard time selecting as it is!
I own some incredible razors however at the moment I am absolutely enjoying Henson A13 ++. I would recommend it to anyone.
Razorock Lupo .58 with the titanium halo handle. Razorocks titanium handle, compared to the stainless steel handles of the same brand which are way too heavy, catapults this razor from a very good one, to the best one i can imagine.
you guys think it’s worth a purchase ? Been itching to try it as I’ve heard it’s very balanced with smoothness and efficiency

Love this combo, have the titanium halo from the old MJ 90 package. Get fantastic shaves with Nacetes and this setup. Cheers

Hard choice... Maybe Gillette Rocket HD? Works well, bullet proof, unpretentious.
Nothing fancy about it, but it is solid and works like it should forever.

Muhle R89 with my Merkur Progress as a close second.
Mine is the razo rock GC .84 . I can use just about any DE blade and they all cut about the same. Its one of those razors where even your typical bad blades will work just as good as the good blades. I will use this razor the rest of my life.
