Favorite Car Restoration Show

Right now I am watching Desert Car Kings but my favorite show is Texas Car Wars as it shows three cars bought by the competing garages, what they had to go through to put it on the road and how much they sold it for all in one show.
Anyone else like these classic car shows?

I like "Wheeler Dealers" on the Velocity channel. It's a British show, no crazy fake deadlines, no drama and no product placement. Just a car needing some work and a guy working on it. Real simple and entertaining.

Yup, this is a good one.

I also enjoyed the various shows on Spike, though for some reason Comcast doesn't let us view Spike anymore.

Product placement bugs me unless it's an integral part of the project like "theme bikes"
Overhaulin' started to get annoying the last couple of seasons.

Thanks to "Wheeler Dealers", I've added "gobsmacked", "chuffed" and "happy as Larry" to my vocabulary.

Mine is by far Wheeler Dealers, Mike and Ed are some of my favorite TV personalities! To me the show is real and by that I mean the stuff Ed does almost anyone can do, they don't have unlimited bugets, they use remanufactured parts and the show is confindence inspiring. I just welded for the first time a few days ago and I bought an angle grinder for a homemade jet engine project I'm working on thanks in part to them. I hope the show is never cancelled!!

Did anyone watch Reality Rides on Velocity on Sunday morning??The build is a Buick 55 Special.
I was pleasantly surprised that the car restoration team actually took you step by step through the build. There was no BS or 'fake' deadlines. Definitely tuning in again next week!

Wheeler dealers by far is my favorite for the reasons mentioned above. To me most of the other shows are ruined by the fake deadlines and the constant turmoil.

In a similar vein to Wheeler Dealers is the "Is Born" series on Discovery Europe. I'm not sure if it's being made anymore, but I found it to be a very detailed and well made series. "An MG Is Born" was a nice bit of reference material when I had my MG.
