Favorite Boar Brush

• The Omega 10049, affectionately known as the Italian Barber brush.

I have a few more, a NOS vintage Surrey which is a great brush, and a Zenith bleached boar. I like boars, badgers, and synths, but if I had to choose one type of brush it would be the humble boar.

I have 5 boar brushes. My favorites are a pair of Zenith unbleached boars.

I can’t answer that. Every time I use one of my boars I think “man that’s my favorite brush!”.

Same thing the next day….. but with another boar.

I luuvs me my Semogue SOC boar. It's the only boar I own--haven't felt the need for another. I think it does a better job face lathering that my badgers. And it smells like a good boar brush should--like Cella.

My favorite? I'm torn between the classic Omega 10049 "Italian Barber" and one of our Omega-commissioned anniversary brushes. But I recently foud a NOS Surrey still in the box on eBay and I'm really starting to like this little brush. The handle is solid, so it has some heft to it. It's breaking in nicely. I doubt it will replace the other two, however.

Without a doubt my Omega 10290 is my favorite, but I love all my Boars.

Omega 10098 professional. I love the barber style handle, it's very comfortable. I have only used boar brushes though (two other omegas and a zenith) and have liked all of them.
