Well perfect timing! This morning’s shave was with the Piccolo using a Ladas SS blade. Very happy with this combo

In my opinion, the FOCS is an awesome razor! One of the best values in shaving!

Always a steep user as for blades, Wilkinson sword, Voskhod, Astra, Rapira and Ladas mostly.

Fatip is the best value for a genuine Italian legend

This is gonna be a great threads gents. I’ve had my Piccolo for a while but been using it a lot more recently. It’s just so nice - I like everything about it really. I get great shaves from it, it fits great in my hand, and it works great under my nose, which I can’t get with TTOs for example. The Fatip rocks!

Definitely steep!

As for "FOCS Friendly" blades, I use Bolzano, Wizamet Super Iridium, Silver Star, Perma-Sharp, Personna Med Prep and Personna Israeli Platinum Red.

I've used my FOCS for 290 consecutive days so, as far as I'm concerned, everyday is Fatip Friday!

I missed the boat and just finished a Fatip Saturday, does it count?

When I shave with my Grande, I keep the handle at a 45 degree angle to my face. I don't know if you call that steep or shallow.
The blade I use is a Gillette 7 O'clock Yellow. Very smooth but sharp.

If Cafebarian uses a Fatip he's had since 2015 it may be a Mk1? He definitely needs an upgrade if that's the case. FOCS would be it. He should also keep the Mk1 as it's a classic!

Same here . This morning I had a wonderfull Fatip slant shave, BBS and irritation free.
Since most days are fatip days overhere I will gladly join, see you next friday.

I don't know as it came in the mk2 (older mk2) packaging like the modern graphics and colour but the same size as the mk1 packaging if that makes sense (modern style but smaller box without the razor being "hung")
Also it is nickel plated and before the retool. So who knows it would explain it's aggression.

My Gentile was bought this year and is fantastic!
