I have been working on a few restorations for some Father's Day gifts:
The first brush is for my Father; he's a Florida State fan, so the colors were perfect.
The second one is for my Father-in-Law. He has been shaving with a straight razor his whole life and uses a boar brush. He's an Auburn fan, so I used orange for the letters on the Ever Ready.
The third one is for my brother (he's a dad, and his birthday is also next week).
I made the last two for myself. I wanted some brushes with a bit more body so went with less loft on both. I have the stand for the green one and may use it for a travel brush.
The knots are all TGN finest XH except for the Ever Ready. For it, I went with an Ace knot; I hoped it would be closer to the boar he has been using.
