Fatboy Custom

So I'm looking to get a Fatboy replated but I want to do full nickel and then something odd....I want to get the doors and bars DLC coated does anyone do custom jobs that I can get that done. Or is their an equivalent coating that would last the lifetime of the nickel? I have heard cerakote is somewhat soft or scratches easily?

I don't know much about them but lookup delta echo razor works.

I have a few friends who own guns with Cerakote on, and they'e always saying how tough it is. Certainly the coated parts I've seen have shown no signs of chips or scratches despite the sometimes pretty rough treatment they get. If Cerakote can stand that, I think it should stand life on a razor. However, I have read somewhere on B&B that it doesn't have the same slick feel on the face as DLC.
