I just polished off the last of my summer brews and it was time to restock. Went with a 6-pack of my local Boulevard Bob’s ‘47 Oktoberfest and a Sam Adams Beers of Fall variety pack. What are you drinking as the seasons turn?

Definitely looking forwad to the mild brown ale local brewpub males. It comes out a few times a year but is my favourite in the autumn.
Also thinking about gin mixers(I know, summer refreshers and all that but the dry tart classics go well on a crisp fall day) and some heavier rum drinks. Another we have come to love on a chill day is hot milk with about an ounce of Benedictine and a bit of cinammon and nutmeg.

The local Brew in the Mesa/Tempe/Phoenix AZ area is Four Peaks, and their Pumpkin Porter is FANTASTIC. You can barely taste any pumpkin, if at all, and there is no "pumpkin spice" flavor to it, rather it is a great clean, light texture, dark colored beer that is SUPER refreshing.
Too bad they dont have it around all year!
