Fahrenheit is too expensive but…

Hey all,
Quick question for you all. My fiancé LOVES when I wear Dior Fahrenheit. It's kinda spendy for me. Does anyone know anything close?
Thanks,
Kevin

I could be off here, but I always remember L'Occitane L'Occitane being siilar to Farenheit. I even posted a thread here about it a while back. The notes are completely different, but to my nose, they smell similar.

Oh, everything's too damned expensive these days. Look at this bible I just got -- fifteen bucks! And talk about a preachy book...everybody's a sinner...except for this guy.

Fahrenheit is fairly unique, but it can be found for a more reasonable price. One example:

Sign up to Beauty Encounter's newsletter and get a 20% off coupon. This brings 100mL of Fahrenheit down to $60.

I don't get any similarities, but I seem to be very sensitive to violet which dominates Fahrenheit for me. L'Occitane is black pepper, lavender and burnt wood. I like both but L'Occitane is a much easier wear for me

I think it is the pepper that makes them similar to me. Honestly, I'm going on memory. I have not used either fragrance in well over a year. I am remembering my first impression when I used L'Occitane and I could be off. I just got a coupon from L'Occitane for their entire mens L'Occitane line and I might just indulge.

The scent Ferrari Uomo is very similar to Fahrenheit, and can be obtained with a very good discount.
Regards,
Renato

Just read on fragrantica people think Lalique Hommage l' homme smells similar to Farenheit
I have not smelled Lalique but I know this can be had around $40 or less. Lalique always make quality affordable frags.

Those 8 people on Fragrantica that think Fahrenheit and Hommage smell alike....well, I'm not sure if they've been smelling the fragrances or mainlining them, but I strongly disagree with their assertions.

Now it may be the case that they have only smelled two fragrances that contain violet, but even only focusing on the violet, they're very different animals.

Fahrenheit uses the violet leaf, giving the greener, cooler scent, whereas Hommage is a much more floral scent and has the sweetness provided by a dose of tonka (that's not to say it's not masculine - I am thrilled with my bottle).
Hommage also doesn't have the dryness of Fahrenheit, granted by the leather, wood and spice.

Both very good fragrances (I previously loathed Fahrenheit, but am steadily coming around towards buying it) but very different.

see if you can get a discount code for sephora online or a gift certificate for amazon. EDP, much like food, is one thing i dont like skimping on. not to mention a 100ml bottle should last you quite a while.
