F. Herder

Hello Gents,

I got a few new additions to the collection without much time to post. The following is gonna make a nice restoration. Although I dont know much about it.

The tang is marked F. Herder with two skelton keys below it crossed like crossbones. Its an 8/8 full hollow with a Spanish Point. The company seems to be German, though it is not marked with a place of origin. Any info on this razor is more than welcome.

Nice looking blade! I do believe Herder is a German maker - I seem to remember seeing another with Solingen stamped into the tang.

They made excellent razors, one of my sharpest razors is a Herder, 5/8 hollow ground. Yours looks much older.

I have a few of their razors. All of them are attractive. I haven't used any of them though.
