Expresso. Volume vs weight.

I've got an eleven year old Macap M4 grinder and forty year old Cremina 67 lever. Use the large double shot basket all the time.

Never have weighed the coffee, just grind to achieve an approximate 25 second pull. Have a heavy tamp of SS, grind and pull might slightly fluctuate due to humidity. Otherwise, after years of espresso experience, the whole thing comes rather easily. The crema in a Bodum cup is unbelievable and the espresso is smooth and delicious.

I've had to politely let my friends know they can't stop by regularly for their double espresso or latte. Unless they want to, on occasion buy me a five pound bag of Redbird Espresso.
