It's just possible I may be going to the Oktoberfest later this year as my brother's stag do and probably won't be checking in luggage. So I thought I'd best see how a disposable works, something I won't miss if it gets lost in transit or something.
This evening I face-lathered up with Palmolive cream and my cheapie plastic Wilkinson Sword brush. Used a supermarket-own brand single blade disposable which was all of £2 for a pack of 10. 3 passes in all with a little touch up.
Overall I'm quite impressed. Not quite as close as with a DE and it wasn't really as enjoyable working with an ultra light piece of plastic, but it did give a smooth, irritation and bloodless result.
I put this down to using a decent if very cheap cream instead of foam or gel which I guess most people using disposables would be using, and also that it was single blade.
Anyone else try this?
