Every-Ready DE help?

Hello friends:

I picked up this razor a couple days ago. Can't find any info on it here at B&B so thought I'd 'ask the experts'.

Anybody know what this is and if the unique blades are still available? It is a TTO that does a quick up and then a cool 1/4 turn. The top flops down on a hinge, apparently to slip the blade over (see pic).

This razor is very heavy and solid feeling. Nice in the hand. Wish I could shave with it tomorrow!

What you have is a Segal DE in an Ever Ready SE box. A mismatched pair. The Segal used a DE blade with a larger cutout in the blade. Someone here has modified regular DE blades to fit his Segal. Don't remember who.

Not an Ever Ready razor there. It is a Segal. It doesn't go with the case. It cannot take a standard DE blade. They used proprietary blades from the Segal company.
