EverReady 750 Butterscotch

Here is a brush I picked up a while back, I still need to reknot it, but I love the feel and color of it. It is a pure badger, and is the softest brush I've ever used.

That's a handsome handle and will make a great restoration. Do you bowl or face-lather, Johnnie? I'm in love with the TGN Finest knots for face-lathering. I usually set the loft to 48-50mm and it's perfection.

Nice handle. It has a very nice color to it. My vintage pure badger brushes are my softest ones I own. Its a shame that his knot is not is better shape.

I face lather. I've tried a scuttle and a bowl, but always go back to face lathering. It seems to me, and of course YMMV, that I get less irritation face lathering than any other way.

the Whipped Dog Silvertip is uber soft, especially if you set the loft high. I did a restore a while back with the glued portion of the knot just below the rim of the handle - still has enough backbone but roll-on smooth as all for the face feel.

Just set another handle with a black badger (also from WD) too at the same loft (has high as I could) that I used for the first time last night - tips are still a bit scritchy but has that floppy softness in there, too. Can't wait for the tips to break in.

Both still pale in comparison to my vintage badger brush, however... Good luck with your restore!
