Ever-Ready Sahving Brush

I have acquired a vintage (probably 1930s or 40s) Ever-Ready shaving brush. Black plastic handle with long, dark bristles. Doesn't look very usable. Does anybody know anything about vintage Ever-Ready brushes.

You can restore it and put a new knot in it. Get a knot from The Golden Nib or Whippeddog. Lots of tutorials in the brush forum for doing this.
