For $25 today, I picked up an Ever Ready 1000 Pure Badger Set in Rubber brush. The knot is in perfect shape and looks more like silvertip to me. Very clean. The handle has a ?melted area on the side and bottom.
Also, I got a German made folding (travel) shave kit with mirror and shave cup and a complete but poor shape Rolls Razor.
I think I got a very good deal. I intend to clean the brush, even though it looks very clean and useable already. Dense knot, good backbone.
