Even DE blade wear--something to even worry about?

I admit, I still haven't even shaved with a DE because I'm waiting for my first razors (two super speeds, a '61 and a '62) to get here in the mail. (Hopefully tomorrow!) Do you guys try to even the wear out on both edges of a blade? For example, by shaving with one edge of the blade WTG, and then shaving with the opposite edge ATG, or shaving the right side of your face with one edge, and the left side with the opposite edge. If anyone does do this, have you noticed the blades lasting noticeably longer than they last when you don't try to even the wear on both edges? Just wondering. I know, I know, you're only looking at a few cents per blade. What can I say, my logical mind sometimes gets the best of me.:001_smile

Don't worry about it. Just shave with one side, flip, shave with the other, rinse and keep at it.
The law of averages will work everything out.

Most guys shave till the edge is loaded with shaving cream, rotate the razor in their hand and shave until the other edge is loaded then rinse and repeat.
DE blades are so cheap most guys change blade before they get dull.

So your the one who bought those two! (Got them here, right?) Good for you. Great razors. I think most of us do one stroke with one side, turn over, one stroke with the other side, rinse and repeat. This pretty much evens out the blade on both sides. Trying to keep track while rinsing, between days, etc. would be too much work. This is supposed to be fun! Enjoy those razors! Larry

Oh, good. One less thing I have to think about the 1st time I shave with my Super Speeds! I tend to overthink things sometimes. Thanks for the great responses, guys!
