I haven't told anyone this but i have been struggling with straight shaving for a while now, always suffering with patches i've missed or increased irritation and never getting what i call a shave let alone a good one, you know the sort.
Well today is different im on holiday and thought i'll learn this thing and irritation be damned!!
Just had my third shave today, skin is irritated and rightly so but at last i have bbs in several places around my mouth/chin/burns and dfs everywhere else, it feels lovely and smooth i can now see the appeal i can't stop faceturbating.
What made the difference, well a freshly honed razor not that there was anything wrong with it before as the vendor is well respected but it's like well i've sort of accidentally stumbled onto the way the edge should be for me and not for someone else.
Plus i made extra passes using various angles, i must have made at least five passes but it took that many to get the stubble down so it wouldn't catch when going atg for the final pass.
Damn im so happy right now.
To all you newbs tough it out, it will come together in the end.
To treat myself i threw on some thayers lemon and will be grabbing the asb in a minute.
