Eucris soap puck

I picked up a puck of this the other day and was wondering if it would be ok to carve it up and microwave it, in order to get it to fit a mug I have.

I seem to remember reading that is glycerine based

Would it lose some of the fragrance or other desireable properties ?

I would not do it. You will ruin this milled soap. Shave the soap to fit the container.

DO NOT!

It is a milled soap and will not fair well in a microwave. Someone posted their technique for further milling a soap into another shape as a sticky in one of the forums. You may wish to check it out.

If the puck is too wide to fit in the mug you can use a vegetable peeler to reduce the diameter of the puck. Throw the extra soap bits under the puck in the mug.
