It's more of a preshave than an aftershave. I've been using it for over a year now and it works great! You only use it once a week (I use it on my first shave day, which is usually 4 days of no shaving). It really softens your whiskers, smells great and feels great and makes your shave effortless. They have an aftershave that works great too. I would highly recommend checking it out. I usually get it from Sephora, but it doesn't look like the carry it anymore.
