Eshave creams

my brain goes "thonk"
If anyone cares. I sent an email to eshave asking if they could send a sample of almond cream to me. They said no, but the would send me .25 samples of all of their shaving creams for $5.00 s&h. Not bad I thought, so I'm waiting for them to come in the mail. Have anyone here tried any creams by eshave?

I've tried the Lime Verbena and I have a tube of the White Tea.

Stupid name, fantastic cream. I'll always have it in my den. it takes very little cream to make an incredibly slick lather. Some folks won't even try it because of some things the owner says, but I really don't care what she says, I just care about how good the cream is.

+1 to Pat's comments. I was really put off trying the Lime Verbena because of the 'verbena' title. I eventually tried it because I love most things 'Lime'. Its quite a good cream but its expensive for the size jar you get. However,as Pat said, a little goes a long way. However,I dont care for the White tea variety at all. Stick with the Lime,IMO.

Yes the owner has a bit of reputation in wet shaving circles but oh boy E-Shave's White Tea shaving cream has to be my favourite cream I've ever used.

I've tried a number of eShave products. Of the creams, I like the lime, lavender, cucumber and almond varieties. I don't particularly enjoy the scent of the white tea. I have the unscented as well that I spiced up with some menthol crystals which worked well. I think they are all great performers although I would agree that they are a bit expensive.

eShave White tea was the 1st cream I tried. Very nice stuff. I don't think I've tried any "bad" shaving creams yet. I had a harder time lathering the eShave, but I think I've got a better handle on that now so I'm going to assume it was just operator error. There really wasn't much smell to me, similar to Proraso Sensitive Green Tea & Oat soap and Nancy Boy signature cream in that way.

I happen to love verbena bath soap, and Royall Lime, and Tumper's Limes, and just about anything with a lime scent. The eshave Verbena-Lime is a completely intoxicating and wonderful scent for me - one of my favorites. All of that would be wasted if it weren't also one of the best performing soft creams I've tried, and I've tried a lot of them.

I've meaning to try the mandarin (think that's a soap) for a while now.
Where are you OP? How did you get in touch with eShave as I want to see if I can as well from here in the UK.

eShave do sell a sample pack of their Shaving/Aftershave creams but it is a lot pricier than $5. It was about £16 on Mankind.co.uk last I checked.
I can recommend the Mandarin Soap. It's a good performer giving a cream-like lather and lots of slickness but I would have to let someone else describe the scent - describing scents is not my strong point

White Tea cream sounds like it might be right up my alley. I'll have to look into this company when I'm finished testing another cream that I have coming in.

Cheers for that, Omp. I try and steer clear of Mankind but I just checked and they do have it in stock at the price you say. I might just check it out purely out of curiosity (like I need another soap or cream!). But I have been curious about this company/brand for a long time. I wanted to pair the Mandarin soap with my Terre d' Hermes scent but I don't use this one as much now a days and there are other creams and soaps out there that go nicely with it.

I've smelled the orange sandalwood and verbena lime, I like both. I haven't shaved with any yet though i'm still working on a tub of RR XXX for the cream /soap challange for the month of March. I still have samples of TOBS that I haven't tried. Someone sent me a sample of Jermyn St. that smells good I can't wait to try that. It reminds me of an air freshener I had once. It has a nice clen crisp smell to it.

I'm curious what is the reputation she has and what has she said that distracted people so much? I have the White Tea and it is a great cream with a great scent but I don't see white tea listed at all in the ingredient list. I was hoping it actually had white tea as a part of it.

I do like the scent quite a bit, but it smells nothing like white tea. I've also yet to smell anything labeled "green tea" that smelled like green tea.

I think this is the video that gets some folks bent out of shape because she says that if the brush isn't badger then it's not a shaving brush

I haven't used their "soother" for quite a while, since I only had a sample tub of it, but as I recall, it was quite nice and very moisturizing.

A 45 second rant about badger hair brushes prevents people from trying the product line? That is just about the craziest thing that I've heard.

haha that is funny... she is too how she talks and talks and talks and says almost nothing and certainly with no scientific true basis for most of it... not that it has to be because really it is all a farce and you believe what you want to. i wish i had those sort of skills to attract so much attention by saying so little.

I have a tub of the eShave Lavender and it is an exceptional product. It is every bit the equivalent of AOS Lavender, if not superior. I would like to try the Verbena Lime.
