Congrats. Never had a Larkin myself. Nice score.
Thank you.. I am glad with the results so far.Congrats. Never had a Larkin myself. Nice score.
I don't know that I have seen one labeled Pike & Escher.
Thanks, I will try it this weekend.I’ve seen those but never owned one. Looks like a nice stone
Great scores.
Absolutely a great score
Tim you have incredible resources in your neck of the woods. Great hunting scores.
I have always wanted to try a yellow-green thuri. Just received this 6 inch thuri bout from @hatzicho .
It really feels great to use. Slurries easily. The top surface is a rectangle, and the rest is odd shaped. Works well in hand. I’m still figuring it out.
A Escher found in the wild. A 7 x 1 1/2 inch dark blue stone with a nice label. The label is the older, German on the left, English on the right and the “E Pluribus Unum” eagle flying above the Escher Cup. The stone is one the hard side but smooth on the blade like a Escher should. Tagging along for the ride is a same size Thuri glued to a paddle. Score this one a few weeks ago. Found in the bathroom hanging on the wall at a estate sale

The Trademark was also used under „Deutsche Schleifmittelwerke, Bösenberg, Trinks & Co.“ with the Shortcut BTC...here is another Version of the Logo without the Escher Cup.
After the Schleifmittel Aktiengesellschaft (SAG) was founded the stones were sold under the „Eagle“ Trademark within their catalogue.
