My Charnley.
That natural layer line is very intriguing Dusty. Do you notice a significant difference in hardness/finishing properties between the two surfaces?
this is mine a 5x 2.5 escher with rubbing stone. I do like this one its defanatley producing exallant edges with slurry only. Does any one have an idea of what colour this one would be ?? i was thinking bluey gree not sure realy, its very similar to my barber s delight that i sold ..

Here is mine. It is in a box like the Celebrated Water hones, but there is no label. One side seems to be the classic charcoal color, whatever that is called, and the other I am gonna say is blue green?
Must be the lighting Jon it looks kinda yellow green in the pics
