Erasmic Supreme and erasmic shower gel

Hi Guys, need some help please:

I recently bought an erasmic shave stick (tallow formulation) and have just bought both a tube of cream and a bowl of soap. Just love the smell of this stuff:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:.

However some news has just reached me, it makes me think oh no! :angry:Basically Keyline brands ltd who produce erasmic Have brought out a new range of shaving products called erasmic supreme. From what rumours I hear, that the traditional stuff will no longer be made and this erasmic supreme will replace it. I therefore need help from anyone who has info on the following:

1) Are the traditional items being discontinued or is it just merely a rumour?
2) Has anyone tried this new erasmic supreme range, if so how does it measure up?
3) There is literally nowhere local to me that stocks this stuff, I have had a hunt around the internet and been able to find small independent chemists that stock it, but for example one chemist quoted £5.09 for the new erasmic supreme shaving stick:blink: Does anyone know of anyone, anywhere that carries the full range of this stuff?
4) Has anyone tried the erasmic shower gel, again if so, how is it?

I hope both the cream and the soap bowl will be continued to be made but if not.... hoarding times ahead methinks?????

Sorry I can't help with any specific info on Erasmic. It does seem to be a trend for soap manufacturers to reformulate their product without tallow.

Hoarding is a good strategy, I think.

I have the Erasmic Supreme Original shave cream and the Post Shave balm and they are both fine. used them today in fact. The cream is good stuff and pretty cheap.

I found them in an El Cheapo shops, Savers I think it was, here in Cheltenham. A sort of down market Superdrug. Might have been Bodycare thinking about it.

They have several of the line though I didn't notice the shave stick as I'm not a fan of shave sticks anyway. It could be that the stick is the new formulation without tallow that everyone hated so much they went back to the original formula. No idea really!

The cream is pretty good stuff and very cheap. Smells much like the old Erasmic cream and is plenty slick and cushioning. I face lather only so can't say what it would be like in a bowl.

I recently tried the Erasmic Supreme Shaving Stick. First thing, it is not a tallow based product. :thumbdown

Second if I am reading ingredients list properly, it has not one but two lathering agents added to it's mix. I can't imagine any proper soap formula being so poor it needs help from TWO lathering agents.:blink:

Performance wise, it is significantly better than the non-tallow Erasmic Shaving Stick that proceeded it (which was an utter disaster), but still not a great enough product to spend great effort to track it down. Honestly in my opinion it's a mediocre product at best.

Erasmic have been bought out, they were keyline, but godrej bought them out, they have changed the brushes they sold as well, from a very good brush, to a very poor brush, i can still get the old cream, which is fab stuff, which is sold along the supreme line, and did have some corrispondance with keyline, who did mention that the new owners were not stopping production of all any of the erasmic range.

Is the brush you refer to as being a very poor brush, it looks a lot like an Omega to me:
