erasmic stick into bowl?

used an erasmic stick today for the first time and was very impressed, lots of cushioning lather.

anyway, I would like to put the soap into a bowl, can I just cut it up and mash it into a bowl?

Is it hard? If so, then you'll have to mill/grate it into the bowl. If it is pliable feel free to mash away, my friend.

I grated a couple of Erasmic sticks into a bowl a while ago. Works just fine.

The erasmic bowl has different ingredients and doesn't produce a good lather, I've heard.

The Erasmic bowl soap easily makes excellent lather for me (despite fairly hard water). IMO it's a very solid budget soap. The Erasmic "Enriched Lather" stick was a huge disappointment for me--even though tallow was supposedly re-added to the ingredients--and has been relegated to head-shave lathering (together with Williams). I've read, however, that the Erasmic "Supreme" stick (click the link) is just like the bowl soap, but I've not found it from any vendor (including Connaught) that sells to the U.S. market.
