Gentlemen,
I know some famous british brands use (or claim to use) only pure 'English' lavender. I also know this lavender originates from Norfolk, UK (where a lavender farm or several is/are to be found). On Yardleys UK website I read that English lavender is much more aromatic than its french counterpart. Does anyone know wether this is true? I have experienced that Yardleys English lavender soap is indeed much more fragrant than any lavender scented savon de Marseille I have ever tried. But is this due to the Englishness of the lavender used, or does Yardley (and the other british brands) just use more scent in its products??
